I’m proud to present you a painting of a charming chapel in São Vicente, my hometown in Madeira, Portugal. This chapel is a symbol of the town and a place that holds many dear memories for me. I used to play there with my sister every Sunday afternoon, while my auntie, who was the chapel’s caretaker, and my grandmother, her sister, would finish their chores. They would often sit and chat, enjoying the view and the sunset behind the mountains.

Tenho o orgulho de apresentar-lhes uma pintura de uma encantadora capelinha em São Vicente, minha terra natal na Madeira, Portugal. Esta capelinha é um símbolo da vila e um local que me guarda muitas recordações queridas. Eu brincava lá com minha irmã todos os domingos à tarde, enquanto minha tia, que era a zeladora da capelinha, e a minha avó, irmã dela, terminavam os afazeres. Elas costumavam sentar-se a conversar, apreciando a vista e o pôr do sol atrás das montanhas.
